The Norwegian coast guard has seized the Russian fishing trawler "Nemansky" in Barents sea. Television channel "Conduct" informs about it. The trawler crew is accused that granted the false documentation and incorrect the information to a coast guard, and also of an abuse of regulations of management a fishing craft. It is expected, that as soon as possible the vessel will be sent in one of the Norwegian seaports where the police will start learning facts of this case.
As the consul general of the Russian Federation in Norway Jury Nikiforov has informed, the diplomatic mission had been received the message from the captain of a fishing trawler "Nemansky", belonging to the company "Golden Fish North", that the Norwegian patrol vessel has delayed a fishing trawler in the Russian economical zone and tows it in one of Norway ports.
"We have contacted at once the applicable authorities of Norway where to us have confirmed this fact, having informed, that the vessel will proceed in tow or in port of Latium, or in Kirkenes", - he has told. It is necessary to notice, that look-alike incidents quite often arose and in the past. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs even has been compelled to act with the solemn declaration in April, 2006, that the Norwegian authorities apply overworkly strict measures pertaining to the Russian trawlers. However, the Russian foreign policy office recognizes, that on occasion domestic vessels really do not observe the current legislation. |
