Company Barracuda Networks has promulgated results of research in which course the situation with a spam on the Internet in leaving year was studied.

According to the published data, within 2007 the share of garbage letters in total amount of the correspondence sent by means of e-mail, has grown to 90-95 %. For comparison, last year the given indicator made 85-90 %, in 2004 - about 70 %, and in 2001 - only 5 %. Thus, for six years the spam stream has grown practically in twenty times.

The statistics resulted Barracuda Networks, is received by the analysis of hundreds millions messages which are received daily by clients of the company worldwide. Barracuda Networks notices, that now the majority of users consider a spam as the worst form of advertising.

Company Adobe Systems has opened source codes of some the specialised tools intended for developers of interactive web appendices.

Open source codes of some technologies, before accessible only as a part of complex Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ES are transferred community. These technologies can be used for improvement of productivity of web appendices and increase of speed of data transmission. The tools besides, opened by company Adobe allow to build in web appendices of a medium of exchange messages in a mode of real time and remote control function.

Adobe Open tools  are united in a new package under name BlazeDS. Now developers can load beta version BlazeDS, and in the beginning of next year the source code of a package will be accessible on conditions of licence “Lesser General Public License” (LGPL v3).
