Sex activity in advanced age - sex healt life

 The old age is not illness, however with the years in an organism variety of characteristic changes which gradually enlarge a distance between older persons and a young organism is observed. It concerns not only choronomic implications, but also function of organs and tissues variety. The science studying patterns of ageing processes  is called as gerontology.

Sex activity of the person is extremely important for normal functioning of all organs and organism systems. It covers many sides of mutual relations between floors: partnership, intimate activity, features of sex behaviour, functional patterns the doubts that fact etc. does not raise, that at deterioration of the general health activity of genesial system is inhibited, the sexual appetence decreases, and sometimes work of organs and tissues of sexual sphere completely stops. For this reason it is necessary to study many-sided interrelation between age of the person and its sex activity. 

The given question is aggravated also with that the list of agents offered by the pharmaceutical enterprises for treatment of sex health is daily enlarged, first of all, erectile function. Nevertheless, application of similar preparations is contraindicative to many patients owing to variety of medical problems. Hence, it is necessary to analyze carefully features of organs functioning of a growing old organism and influence on it choronomic (including medical) factors.

Researches of sex activity at people of advanced age meet in the medical literature seldom enough. However in the majority of such scientific works it becomes perceptible that some men and women sustain the sex activity and intimate relations at high enough level though (for the sake of justice) it is necessary to notice that in the given researches practically is told nothing about dependence between degree of organism ageing and possibility to realize sex function.

 
With the years problems with general character health is collected. For example, older persons have such serious diseases as a hypertonia, diabetes, dysfunction of a gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory processes of genitourinary system, tumour is many times more often. If similar pathological processes are not in due time diagnosed and cured, there is variety of functional disorders, including, sex character.

At the same time, negative influence of the general diseases on sex sphere of the person worsens its psychological activity, in particular, there is a depression, apathy (indifference to all environing), disturbances of a sleep, appetite etc. All it promotes appearance of problems of social character. To avoid similar nuisances, patients should stop often enough treatment of the general diseases because of a side effect of some the preparations fatally influencing sex activity and a hormonal background of an organism.

To warn formation of similar "vicious circle" to patients it is necessary to consult periodically at the conforming medical experts and it is obligatory to spend, on the one hand, treatment of general diseases inevitably collecting with the years, and on the other hand, to avoid excessively negative influence of such treatment on sexual sphere of an organism.

For the purpose of deeper studying of communication of age changes and sex health of the person the bunch of scientists of the USA and Canada had been spent careful multilateral inspection more than 3000 patients among whom there were 1550 women and 1455 men at the age of 57-85 years. Thus, by interrogation of patients, such aspects of their sex life as a sexual appetence, excitation, an orgasm, a pain, satisfaction, and also medical problems of the general character (as time, and it is long proceeding) were studied. Research covered previous 5 years of life of patients. Besides, all disturbances of sex functions estimated on problem severity levels.

At women sex activity was much lower in all age-grades. Various sex problems had the majority of the surveyed. In particular, at 43 % of women depression of a sexual appetence, at 39 % - difficulties with education of vaginal greasing becomes perceptible, at 34 % of women essential climacteric problems became perceptible. At 37 % of men problems with an erection became perceptible, 14 % had a necessity for medicamental or other agents of enriching of sex function. All surveyed men and women noticed, that at any deterioration of the general health sex activity sharply decreases. For this reason 38 % of men and 22 % of women after 50 years regularly addressed to doctors for the help in treatment of their sex problems.

Thus, patterns of age fading of sex activity are taped, and at women this phenomenon is expressed more strongly. It means, that above the specified disturbances adequate psychologic and therapeutic correction is necessary for the prevention of development of more serious disorders of health for the majority of people of advanced age.
